Updated Shortcuts
Here are the latest Apple Shortcuts for the Gospel Library.
Much has changed since I first posted Apple Shortcuts. This is my current updated list. After downloading a Shortcut, tap on the three dots and read the comment at the top.
Share Sheet These are accessed through the Gospel Library Share Function.
Copies content and reference to the Clipboard
Copies content and reference to the Clipboard, pastes to an app that appears in a menu
Copies selected word, opens 1828 dictionary website
GL Dictionary Lookup Define and Copy
Selected word is searched in LookUp (a 3rd party app), definition is provided and copied to the Clipboard
Copies selected word, opens the Citation website
A QR code is created from selected content and copied to the Clipboard
Shortcuts These Shortcuts are started from outside the Gospel Library and can be started with Siri using the letters in caps in the shortcut title. When using Siri you can use lower case. You can also place the shortcuts on your home page.
GLSP (iPad Only) Split Screen W/Slide Overs
The screen is split 50/50 with the Library and Blue Letter Bible. Three slide overs are created (Drafts, Citation Index and LookUp). Drafts and LookUp are 3rd party apps. Drafts is for taking notes, and LookUp is an excellent dictionary. Make sure you have downloaded both apps before running the shortcut.
GLS (for iPhone) Open Apps Needed For Studying
Turns on Do Not Disturb and opens Gospel Link website, and the following apps Logos Bible, Citation Index, Blue Letter Bible and Gospel Library. Make sure you have downloaded all the apps before running the shortcut.
