The Gospel Library; More Than Just The Scriptures

There is a reason the Gospel Library is called a “Library.”

When I talk to people about the Gospel Library, it becomes clear that many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint only think of the Gospel Library as the digital form of the scriptures. But the Library contains much more and continues to grow.

The Library is divided into Collections to make it easier to browse.

For example, the Life Help Collection offers help with the challenges of life — addiction, abuse, disabilities, employment, divorce, finance, grief, hope, to name a few.

The Topics Collection contains Gospel Topics and Essays and other resources to help with studying the scriptures and understanding the doctrine and principles of the Gospel.

Are you looking for a break from work? Check out the Videos Collection for uplifting messages.

The Audience Collection focuses on various age groups and sections for Women and Men, Couples and Parents, Military Members, and Those of All Faiths.

And still, there is more. For example, there are Collections on Jesus Christ, General Conference, and Restoration and Church History.

The amount of information can be overwhelming when looking for something specific, so the Library offers an excellent search function.

Once you find the material you were searching for, you need tools to keep you organized, and the Library has just what you need. You can create Tags, Notes, Notebooks, Links, and Bookmarks.

The Gospel Library is also an excellent missionary tool. You can share with social media, friends, and family material that has touched your heart or share with someone who needs encouragement.

The Library is an extraordinary tool to help us draw closer to the Lord, engage in missionary work, and be of service to others.

If you haven’t taken a good look at the Library, take some time to see all that is available in the palm of your hand, and when you find something new, share it with others.
