Preparing for General Conference Using The Gospel Library Study Plans

Overview

When you set up a Study Plan, you provide the start and end dates, select the days you want to study, and if you want a reminder. The Plan divides the talks according to the period you provided, and the days of the week you want to study. As you complete a talk, you check it off. You can also set a reminder. The schedule offers flexibility should you decide you want to go beyond what was assigned for the day.

Here is how to create a general conference Study Plan.

Apple

Tap on the Home button in the lower left corner. Tap on Study Plans (you may have to scroll down to find it). Tap on Create Study Plan and then tap on Next in the upper right corner. Tap on General Conference, tap on the general conference you want to study. Now turn on Set a schedule.

First, decide which days you want to study, then set the Start and End Dates. If your Plan is to read the talks, turn on Allow chapters to be split. This option will set up the schedule so you do not have to read the entire talk in one day. You can leave this option off if you are listening to the talks.

Once you set up the schedule you want, you will see a calculation of how many chapters (talks) you need to read or listen to each day. Now tap on Next in the upper right corner. Now you can set a reminder when done, tap on Next, and then tap on Save in the upper right corner.

You are now ready to start listening to or reading the conference talks.
